ITINERARY

The Olive Oil Tour:  The quality of Cretan olive oil is known all over the world. At the olive mill, the visitor has the opportunity to tour for free three different olive mills. He will be able to see the way in which olive oil was produced in the old days with manual tools and with the help of animals and later in the next generation where the oil was extracted with less effort, with the help of an oil machine and finally the modern processing that takes place today. us with the centrifugal force. The visitor also has the opportunity to try and buy olive oil.  
Honey Museum-Tasting & Tours: Take part in the tour and visit us in our lab and explore the fascinating world of apiθανο and the bees. Is an unprecedented experience for the history & production of honey in Crete. Honey is for us a source of life, an extract of natural flavour and aromas. The bees, these unpredictable alchemists, fly from flower to flower, finding hidden gems, the juices of fruit and the nectar of each land. We collect our honey from selected areas of Crete which thanks to their rare biodiversity and endemic vegetation, give it a strong aroma and a unique taste.
Wine experience:  Local winery – Live the experience for the local wine and take place a tour of our plant and tasting of 5 different wines served with an assortment of rusks, olives, and cheese.
Pottery workshop:  We will start our excursion in the village of Margarites, famous for its ceramic tradition. In our workshop, we receive visitors from all over the world to get to know Cretan Ceramic Art to see how we make the pots on the wheel, how we decorate them, and how they are baked in the oven to reach their final form. We will be very happy to show you how we work, to see the modern tools we use but also the tools of our grandparents and if you want to try to create your own works with our help. Learn to make your own pottery for free in one of the best studios.  
Arkadi Monastery: This contains one of the finest Venetian churches in Crete. The tragic events that took place here in 1866 made it a national symbol of Crete’s heroic struggle for independence. The Arkadi Monastery is so important in Greek history.
